2009年、THE EMERALDSの“カズヤ”と“オウスケ”、CLARABELLの歌って踊れるドラマー“ダイスケ”、カラオケボックスで見つけたタンバリニスト“タロウ”という4人が、真っ赤なパンツを履いて結成。強烈な疾走感で、大阪ミナミホイール、名古屋サカエスプリング、そしてアメリカで世界最大級ショーケース“サウスバイサウスウェスト”を駆け抜け世界が大絶賛。音楽の楽しみ方にルールは無用！とにかくみんなを最上級のＨＡＰＰＹにすることを約束するぜ！

"The Emeralds" from Japan, performed at one of the world's largest showcase events that took place in Texas, U.S, in 2004. The Emeralds continued to perform on the SXSW stage every year until 2009, and completed 5 successful US tours. They also performed at the New York CMJ, a festival in Korea with 30,000 people, and at Music Week in Canada. The Emeralds have traveled to wherever their music took them, and they have fans around the world.

In 2009, the Guitar/Vocalist Kazuya and Bassist Ousuke decided to start a new band with new members. Kazuya and Ousuke met Daisuke from CLARABELL at the SXSW2005 Festival, and Daisuke joined as the Drummer/Vocalist. Daisuke is the insane ultimate entertainer with his dancing and singing, but the real fun comes when throws away his drums sticks and goes diving into the crowd during the set. Taro, they found at a Karaoke bar. Taro is a multi media vocal who has the ability to change all sorts of everyday items such as clock alarms, step ladders into musical instruments like the Tambourines, Megaphones, Maracas, and crackers. With the new members, Daisuke and Taro, the new band was name "THE RUBIES". The Rubies will electrify the world with their Fantastic Rock'n' Roll numbers, along with the "extra members" in red costume giving the performance of their life! The thrill and fun can't be missed.
